(By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyrisht.) LONDON, May 2. Friday's closing prices for the following raw materials were as follows, those for April 24 being shown in parentheses:— Cotton.—Liverpool quotation, good American middling, spot, 6.46 d a lb (6.62 d); June delivery, 6.06 d a lb (6.26 d).
Rubber.—Para, 9d alb (same); plantation smoked ribbed sheet, 7 15-32 d a lb (7 9-16 d).
Jute.—May-June shipment, Indian jute, Dundee quotation, £19 2s 6d a ton (£l9 Is 3d).
Copra.—May-June shipment, South Sea, to London or Rotterdam, £11 5s a ton (£l2 2s 6d); smoked, to Marseilles or Genoa, £11 10s a ton (£ll 17s 6d). Plantation, Rabaul-, to London or Rotterdam, £12 10s a ton (£l3). , Linseed Oil.—£2B 10s a ton (£2B 15s).
Turpentine.—39s 9d a ton (41s 3d)
