Lady Angela Scott, sister of the Duchess of Gloucester, was married at St. Margaret's, Westminster, to Lieu-tenant-Commander Peter Dawnay. They are to live for three years in New Zealand, where .Lieutenant-Com-mander Dawnay is to take up a naval appointment after the honeymoon .in England. The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and the Earl and Countess of Athlone attended the wedding. Queen Mary sent a dressing table set and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester a diamond wrist watch as gifts to the bride. The Archbishop of Canterbury performed the service. Five thousand sight-seers outside the church blocked the traffic for half an hour.
