HIGHER BASIC WAGE
DECLARATION IN N.S.W.
SYDNEY, April 26.
The State Industrial Commission, in its. living wage declaration today, increased the male adult basic wage by 6d a week to 695; but the rate for women employees, based on a new standard, is now fixed at 35s 6d, compared with 37s hitherto.
