A medal round played in conjunction with the qualifying round for the" Lauchlan Trophy resulted in D. Isaacs returning the winning card, 84, 16—68. Next in order were: C. A. Turnbull, 93, 24—69; W. D. Murie, 77, 7—70; W. T. Pocknall, 89, 19—70; M. McKelvie, 91, 21—70; B. Hartman, 86, 14—72; W. Johnston, 89, 17—72; H. A. Hansen, 98, 18—72; G. F. Hogg, 77, 5— 72; R. G. Flower, 89, 17—72. , In a fourball best-ball bogey, W. D. Murie (5) and W. McKelvie (15) returned the excellent card ■of 10 up. Next in order were: C. Andrews (14) and Haughton (10), Lulham (4) and Robson (11), Robertson (10) and Ogilvy (11), 3 up. , The following qualified to play off on Handicap for the Lauchlan Trophy:— Isaacs and Ross, Turnbull and Hipkins, McKelvie and Deegan, Murie and Burke, Pocknall and Pearce, Hartman and Kretschmar, W. t Johnston and Lockett, Hansen and Bing, G. F. Hogg and :Welsh, R. G. Flower and Brown, Digby and Richards, Ranish and- Boyd, A Press and Low, Elliott and Griffin, McGregor and Davidge, Gleadow and Lulham. , , . .. G McGregor holed his tee shot at the sixteenth (114 yards). The event was duly celebrated.
