TONIGHT'S WRESTLING.

■ Two wrestlers who have not yet appeared in Wellington but ,who have given excellent performances elsewhere in the Dominion will be matched in the professional contest at the Town Hall tonight. They are Jack Forsgren, the 17-stone champion of Canada, and Pete Mehringer, 1932 Olympic lightheavyweight champion. Mehringer is about 6ft tall and weighs 15st 71b. He is still a young man, and, has been a professional less than two years, but has competed as an amateur with conspicuous success since his boyhood. He specialises in a grapevine hold which is particularly deadly. Forsgren is one of the most popular wrestlers in North America, and his version of the Boston Ct-ab has brought him many falls. Neither man has yet been beaten in New Zealand. There will be amateur preliminaries from 8 o'clock. Particulars are advertised.
