PROMISING FUTURE
CHARLES FARRELL'S VIEWS
(By Telegraph—Press Association.)
AUCKLAND, This Day.
The belief that there is a big future for the motion picture industry in Australia is held by Charles Farrell, who is returning to America after making a picture in Australia called "The Plying Doctor." He arrived by the Aorangi and will make a brief. tour of the North Island before leaving by the Mariposa on Saturday.
Mr. Farrell was full of admiration for the work of his two leading girls in the Australian picture, Miss Mary Maguire and Miss Margaret Vyner, both Australians. For the industry to succeed in Australia, he said, it would need to' import the right technicians.
On returning to Hollywood Mr. Farrell will rejoin the Fox Corporation, with whom he has been associated for ten years.
