AUSTRALIAN SERVICE
LONDON, April 9.
The P. and O. Steamship Company announces that orders for two new vessels similar to the Strathmore are being placed with Vickers-Armstrong, Limited, following a decision to reorganise the company's Australian service. The present branch-line vessels will be withdrawn as they arrive in England.
