MANDATES POLICY
CONSERVATIVE FEARS
LONDON, April 9,
The political correspondent of the "Morning Post" says many Conservatives are gravely dissatisfied with the Government's refusal to give satisfactory assurances regarding the future of the mandated territories. No section of the House is willing to consent to the return to Germany of terntones at present under British rule; they consider it would be a grave breach of faith to the inhabitants to hand them over to the mercies of the Nazis.
