SEA SCOUTS
REGATTA AT PETONE
The New Zealand Sea Scouts are holding their annual regatta today at Petone, where crews from Nelson, Wanganui, Wellington, and Petone are competing.
The first regatta was held eleven years ago, when the only trophy was the Aorangi Cup for juniors. Since then there have been added the following trophies:—The Washbourn Cup for seniors, the Nelson Cup for Rovers, the Cornwall Shield, an aggregate trophy, and the Leslie Shore Memorial Cup. The various heats rowed this morning were keenly contested.
Mr. A. E. Peterson was starter and timekeeper, Mr. A. Drummond Duthie judge, Mr. F. C. Holmes judge for the "Leslie Shore" Cup, and Mr. G. A. Harris marshal.
