'The prospects are that weather conditions will be ideal for the interprovincial eight-oar championship race this afternoon. Seven crews, representing Otago, Canterbury, Marlborough, Wellington, East Coast, Auckland, and will be competing.
,!;The visiting eights all had rows over the course yesterday, and were unanimous that a" splendid stretch of water had been selected for the contest. Great interest is being taken in the race, and many visitors are arriving.
