All railway companies have mads plans for a holiday rush exceeding, anything1 undertaken in past years. The services are augmented, and the.main expresses are running in several portions. ■ . ~ Crowded roads are providing th« authorities with many problems in anticipation, and a special campaign for road safety was inaugurated last nignt by the Minister of Transport. The Automobile Association is arranging for aeroplanes to trail banners with safety slogans to patrol seaside resorts and other centres of attraction. ■■
