The Zeppelin Hindenburg arrive* safely after recrossing the Atlantic from America. There is widespread relief in Germany, as the Zeppelin had been battling with storms since crossed the Equator.
French warships in the Mediterranean had been ordered to help if the Zeppelin was forced down at sea. The Bordeaux aerodrome was specially manned and illuminated. . Le Bourget picked up a message frora the Hindenburg early in the morning stating that two of ..the four engines were disabled, that the ship was fight, ing strong head winds, and that at» tempts were being made to repair ths engines while the ship was in the air.
