CHRISTCHURCH HOSPITAL

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day.

The new medical superintendent of the Christchurch Hospital Is Dr. A. D. Nelson, who was appointed by the North Canterbury Hospital Board this morning to take the place of Dr. W. Fox, who has retired.

Dr. Nelson has been superintendent at the Wanganui Hospital since 1925. There were nine applicants from New Zealand, fourteen from Australia, and eleven from England.
