A "MIME" PLAY
Melbourne can claim something novel in dramatic entertainments, states a writer from that city. During the Christmas holidays eight deaf mutes produced a play. 'The story was not only revealed by pantomime; the characters gave their lines by finger-action, but a voice In the back' ground described the progress of events as the play went along. The actors were all amateur, but showed remarkable talent.
