JUOGEFORD COUNTRY CLUB
The Judgeford Country Oolf Club was officially opened yesterday in the presence of a large number of visitors and members. , In the absence of the president the club captain (Mr. D. W. Barclay) briefly addressed the gathering. ] The honour of driving the first ban of the 1936 season fell to the captain of the ladies' club, Miss Gardiner, after which those present were entertained at afternoon' tea by the. ladies commitDuring the day a Canadian foursome was played, and resulted in a tie between; Mr. and -Mrs. Stevenson^ 79, 13—66, and Miss Reynolds and W. D. Cooke, 82,16—66. Other cards returned included Miss Barry and B.^Levick, g9 20—69; and Mr. and Mrs. W. Martin, 84, 12—72.
