AUSTRALIAN VISIT
BLEDISLOE CUP MATCHES
As a preliminary to the visit by the Springboks next year, New Zealand wilL be visited by an Australian Rugby team this year. The N.Z.R.U. executive has drawn up the following itinerary:—.
August 11 —Arrive Auckland. August 15—-Play Auckland. August 19 —Play Wanganui. August 22—Play Hawke's Bay. August 26 —Play Wairarapa. August 29—Play New Zealand, at Wellington. September 2—Play North Otago. September s—Plays—Play New Zealand, at Dunedin.
September 9—Play Southland. September 12 —Play Canterbury. September 15—Play New Zealand Maoris at Palmerston North.
September 17—Depart for Australia,
"In view of the fact that Australia holds the Bledisloe Cup, an emblem of supremacy between the two countries, added interest will be given to the games," states the N.Z.R.U. annual report. "A" cordial welcome awaits out visitors."
