FLEEING TROOPS
SELASSIE'S ARMY
HARASSED FROM THE AIR
Cntted Press Association—By Electric Telt« craph—Copyright. (Received April 6, 2.20 p.m.) LONDON, April 5. The "Daily Mail's" Makale correspondent says that fugitives of Haila Selassie's army are clogging the passes south of Lake Ashangi. . They have abandoned their weapons and uniforms, and are being bombed ■ and machine-gunned from every availabla Italian aeroplane. Haile .Selassie, Ras Kassa, and Ras Seyoum, with a handful of followers, are struggling towards Dessie.
In Rome the general impression is that in future the Italian- operations will resemble an occupation rather than a conquest. It is ..expected that flyins columns will quickly penetrate into Central Abyssinia. .-.■,■...',
