Mr. A. Robertson, breeder of the last Melbourne Cup winner, Marabou, who has just returned from a visit to New Zealand, said he was prepared to buy horses in New Zealarid if he had been impressed by them, but the form at present was poorer than it had been for many years. Mr. Robertson leaves for England shortly to buy blood stock for several Australian owners.
