Mr. H. P. Lawry, S.M.,'presided at a sitting of the Hutt Licensing Committee at Petone this morning. The transfer of the licence of the Central Hotel, Lower Hutt, from M. "McGavin to J. Shine was approved. Constable H. McNamara represented the police, and Mr. W. B. Rainey the new licensee.
