GAME FOR CHARITY
Cricket matches between visiting theatrical companies and local players are not new to Wellington, but the game which has been arranged by.the New Zealanders* -Association betw^a the lady members of'the "White Hoi se Inn Company" and a combined Wellington side should attract more than usual interest. A gala afternoon has been organised, the proceeds of which are to go to the Mayor's Metropolitan Relief Fund. Afternoon tea will be d'splnsed by the ladies of the company The match is to be played _at Newtown Park on Friday, commencing at 2 p.m.. and it is hoped that the cars to convey the players to and from th T h! r°c Uombined team will be as folTM k MoffTkateoM Rof?
