ROYAL K.C

King Leopold of.the Belgians, who has been made a .KG,1 follows his father, King Albert, in that dignity. He is the second K.G. ■to be created since his father's death. When King Albert died his Insignia of the Garter were returned to the King as Sovereign of the Order. This was done by the special mission, headed by the Due d'Ursel, which came over in June last year to announce the accession of King Leopold. The mission also brought back his Insignia of the Bath. Actually, however, In the case of the Bath the return of all the insignia was unnecessary.
