GUARD'S UNLUCKY DAY
In all his forty-five 'years on tho Southern Railway in England, Harry Vincent, of Southampton, had never been involved in an accident. Recently the hour approached for his well-earned retirement. He was taking his last train into Millbank Station, Southampton. A few minutes more and he would be free. Suddenly the train lurched. Guard Vincent was thrown heavily in his van. He was taken home with injuries to.lris ribs.
