PRIVATE CONFERENCE

The recently-announced scheme of the Government for the stabilisation of the wheat-growing, flour-milling,; and bread-baking industries was to be the subject of a round-table conference this afternoon between the Minister of Industries and Commerce (the Hon. D. G. Sullivan) and a deputation from the Master Bakers' Association, which has been considering the ' scheme in conference at Wanganui. Proceedings were to be held in private.
