For his fourth offence of drunkenness, Benjamin Thompson, a French polisher, aged 43, was sentenced to seven days' imprisonment by Mr. J. G. L. Hewitt, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today. A hollow piece of wood containing letters addressed to people in Scotland and England was set adrift five months ago from the island of St. Kilda, on the west coast of Scotland. It has been washed ashore on the island of Skute, Norway. ' ■'-•Cin. I
