CHILD DROWNED IN DIP

CHRISTCHURCH, February 11

The two-year-old son of Mr. Alf Brustad, of .Waiau, was drowned in a sheep-dip at his father's home today. The child was with his father in the wool shed and was unobserved for a few minutes. He was found ten minutes later in the sheep-dip. Resuscitation measures failed 'to restore animation and a doctor was called immediately, but the child was dead. The child's mother, well known by her maiden name, Miss Aroha Clifford, died when the baby was born.
