ALMOST READY
FINANCIAL POLICY
CABINET ON FRIDAY
MINISTERS SUMMONED
An indication that the Government hias almost completed the drafting of its financial policy was given today by the Prime Minis.ter (the Hon. M. J. Savage), who, in reply lo a question, stated that it would be ready in a day or two.
Cabinet met again this morning, and members of the Ministry have been asked to remain in Wellington on Friday for what will probably be one of the most important Cabinet meetings yet held.
The Hon. R. Semple (Minister of Public Works) and the Hon. F. Jones (Postmaster-General), both of whom are in the South Island at present, are due back in Wellington on Friday morning. The Hon. W. E. Parry (Minister of Internal Affairs), who has been •in the north for ten days, arrived back this morning.
It is understood that the final draft of the Government's financial policy will be submitted to the coming assembly of Ministers.
