THE LATE MRS. F. V. WATERS

The funeral of the late Mrs. Agnes Mansfield Waters, widow of the late Mr. F. V. Waters, formerly Assistant Secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department, took place this morning, following a service at St. Mary*s Anglican Church, Karori. The officiating clergy were Archdeacon Hansell and the Rev. F. M. Kempthorne.

There was a large attendance of friends of the family. The bearers were Messrs. E. Waters, O. N. Gillespie, L. P. Davies, and G. Henderson, and, amongst those present were Miss R. R. Ridler, Mr. and Mre. F. Dyer, Mrs. and Miss Knox Gilmer, Mrs. Frank Hay, Mr. T. E. Y. Seddon, Sir Harold and Lady Beauchamp, Mr. and Mrs. Thome George, Mr. J. W. Henderson and Miss Henderson, Mr. and Mrs. B. Trapp and Miss Trapp, Mrs, and Miss Morice, Mrs. B. Blundell, Mrs. and Miss G. Hansell, Mrs. and Miss Bristow; Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Miller, the Hon. Vincent Ward, Rev. R. Newcombe, Messrs. R. Parker, C.M.G., W. F. Newcombe, S. B. Shortt, W. Prouse, W. H. Lever, H. Putnam, G. Guthrie, H. Caldwell, C. Monaghan, R. C. Hayes, L. G. Porter, Mesdames Blatchford, Christophers, J. Mackenzie, Hemsley, G. Waterson, R. Caldwell, W. H. Didsbury, E. Waters, Messrs. J. Ridler, Kennedy, Halse, M. Smythe, McGregor, D; Bulkley, B. Bulkley, E. Davies, G. Davies, and the members of St. Mary's choir.
