The thirteenth annual conference of the New Zealand Master Grocers' Federation, opened today. Mr. C. M. Croft, Canadian Trade, Commissioner, addressed, the conference on the subject of Canada as a commercial country.
Mr. Eric Gray, of Kaiapoi, was elected president. Last evening Mr. Croft screened films depicting Canada. This morning he addressed the conference on the subject of massed buying.
