Marshal Badoglio, in a communique, claims that the Abyssinian dead in the battle of Ganale Dorya totalled at least 10,000, the Italian losses being small. The Italians captured enormous quantities of .arms and animals, anc also personal baggage and a Belgian officer who had been advising Ras Desta from a high-powered wireless station.
