ROI LOR MEETS INJURY

Mr. J. B. Norris, secretary to the New Zealand Trotting Association, has received advice from Adelaide that Roi lOr has met with an accident, and will not go to Perth to take part in the Inter-Dominion Championships. The nature of the accident is not revealed, but the information will be received with general regret in lightharness circles. 'Roi lOr was the only New Zealand horse engaged, and his withdrawal will detract in big measure from what promised to be a great meeting. Mr. P Brown, the owner, is in Adelaide with the gelding, and Free Holmes, who was to have driven him in. his engagements, left New Zealand last week. Possibly both owner and driver will visit Perth to see the championship meeting.
