FOUND AFTER 300 YEARS

Nearly 300 years ago Yeoman John Fuller, of Blewbury, near Didcot, Berkshire, signed a declaration of allegiance to Cromwell's Protectorate. Like the cautious man he was, he hid the document in an oak beam of his house. The other day it was found —by workmen. Until a few years ago, there was preserved in the house a tablecloth oft which Roundheads and Cavaliers ate within an hour of each other. So Yeoman Fuller's caution, was justified.
