Lady Edmonstone, London, is visiting Wellington, and is at the Midland Hotel. Mrs. Harry Atkinson, Karori, accompanied by her son, Harry, left yesterday afternoon by aeroplane for Nelson, where they will spend a fortnight with Mrs. Atkinson's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Field. Mr. and Mrs. Hamish Wilson and Miss Cynthia Wilson, of Bulls, visited "The Hermitage," Mount Cook, last week. Mrs. Basil B. Hooper, Remuera, Auckland, who, after a.round of visits in Wellington suburbs, has been visiting her brother, Mr. F. W. Seldon, and his family in Ashburton. Lady Sandeman Allen, England, arrived in Auckland from Wellington on Saturday and is staying with relatives in Herne Bay. Mrs. A. E. Ivil, Wellington, is staying in Takapuna, Auckland, and is the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Eugene Sullivan. Miss Hilliard and her sister, Miss J. Hilliard, of Blenheim, are guests at the Windsor Hotel. Visitors to "The Hermitage," Mount Cook, during the past week included the following Wellington people: Professor and Mrs. Adamson, Miss M. L. Hayes, Miss J. Johnston, and Miss L. Feist (Lower Hutt). , Mrs. Bjrchall, Wellington, is a visitor to Whakatane. Mrs. G. W. Hunt, "Wantwood," Nelson, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Bradey, Pahautanui. Mrs. A. E. Watkins, Timaru, is spending a few days with Mrs. F. Shelton, Khandallah, before returning south. Miss Nancy Whitlock, Wanganui, is visiting Wellington. Miss W. Hannan, Tautapere, Southland, is visiting Wellington. Mrs. A. Thompson, Wellington, is visiting Whakatane. Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Mitchell, Lower Hutt, have returned home after a tour of the North Island. Mr. and Mrs. K. Cane, Wanganui, who have been visiting Wellington, have returned home. Misses Eileen and Winnie Nant, Palmerston North, are staying'with Mrs. A. F. Bayly. Junction Road, Lower Hutt. . Miss Meryl Daniels has returned, to Wellington, after spending a holiday at Pukerua Bay. Wellington visitors to the Chateau Tongariro during the past week include the following: Mr. and Mrs. Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Duff, Mrs. iR. Williams, Mr. L. C. Harker, Professor Rankine Brown, Mr. and Mrs. McKeeh, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Bull, Mr. and Mrs. O. D. Sutcliffe, Miss J. Wood, Miss Holm, Mrs. I. Wiljson,_JVlr.,...Mrs.,. _and Master Sinclair Thompson, and Mrs. and Miss Nichol. Mrs. R. D. Rogers, Auckland, is visiting Wellington and is staying at the Midland Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Myers left for Dunedin on Saturday night. Mrs. Arthur Miles returned to Chirstchurch on- Sunday from Wellington. Miss Joyce Willcocksp Wellington, is visiting Timaru..
