THROWN FROM MOTOR-CYCLE

Thrown from the machine when the motor-cycle he was riding struck a bank at the side of the road at Porirua yesterday afternoon, Mr. J. E. Edwards, a public servant residing at 144 Nevay Road, received injuries to his head which resulted in his being taken to the hospital by the Free Ambulance. It was there ascertained that he had suffered a fracture of the base of the skull. His condition is serious. j
