(By Telegraph—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, This Day. The Annual Meeting of the Clifden Racing Club is being held at Invercargill today in fine weather. There is a good, crowd present and the track is in splendid order. Results:—
Lilburn Handicap, £35; 6 furlongs. —3 Henry Dawson, 8.11, 1; 6 Bond, 8.6, 2; 2 Smoko, 8.5, 3. All started. Two lengths. Time, lmin 15sec.
Tuatapere Handicap Trot, £46; 3.5 class; li miles. —3 Vacation, scr, 1; 8 Erin's Star, 48, 2; 14 Cirrus, scr, 3. All started. Four lengths. Time, 2min 55 2-ssec.
