QUEEN'S ACKNOWLEDGMENT

MESSAGE TO LORD GALWAY

The following telegram has been received by the Governor-General,. Viscount Galway, from Mr. Malcolm MacDonald, Secretary of State for the Dominions:—

"I am desired by Queen Mary to convey to your Prime Minister, and to the Government and people of New Zealand, an expression of her Majesty's deep gratitude for their kind message of sympathy with her in her great loss."
