PROCLAMATION AT LEVIN

A large crowd gathered before the Levin Post Office at 11 a.m. yesterday, when the Mayor of Levin, Mr. P. W. Goldsmith, read the Proclamation of the accession of King Edward VIII. The Mayor was accompanied by the councillors of the Levin Borough. At the conclusion of the reading the Levin Band played "God Save the King," which was sung by the gathering.
