Prominent ship' owners said:— "As far as the shipping companies are concerned, there is no seamen's strike in force at present. All the ships that were laid up in South Australia, Victoria, and Queensland have been manned, and the vessels still idle in Sydney are being manned as required. There is no dearth of men."
