NEW ZEALAND TEACHERS

(By Telegraph-Press Association.) . AUCKLAND, This Day. A party of New Zealand school teachers, numbering 145, returned by; the Niagara from a visit to Fiji.. Mr. G. R. Ashbridge, secretary of the New Zealand Educational Institute, said that at least fifty more teachers desired to go, but it had been impossible to accommodate them. The experiment, continued Mr. Ashbridge, had been highly successful and it was hoped it would be repeated in future years. Perhaps two years hence it would be possible to arrange a round trip to Australia. All were greatly impressed with the hospitality received in Fiji. Visits to native, villages, neighbouring islands, and an impressive garden party at Government House were outstanding features.
