SlcVnan, C.8., C.M.G., C.8.E., M.V.0., Knid'it of Justice of the Order of St. John,! and representative of the Grand Priori of the Order (H.H.H. the Duke of Con^iaught, K.G.), will be inspecting division^ and com; nanderies. Colonel Sleeman commenc id his tour of the DominfoM from Invurcargill after spending a hcEVday at Lake Wakatipu. , The Overseas Commissioner will enter the; Wellington ambulance district tomoa row when he will arrive at Blenheim ,l>y air. He will inspect the ambulance*, and nursing division shortly after ar.'iival, and will later be given" a public -rttt'eption followed by afternoon tea. Colonel SleemaT.> will arrive at Rongotai from Nelson ijat 8.30 on Thursday morning, and will"., lunch with the New Zealand Club at < I p.m., when an address given by '{him will be broadcast. At 10 a.m. '{Pn Friday he will meet the Wellingttfli Commandery in the Dominion Farrtasrs' Institute. He will inspect the District Nursing Guild of St. John at 4 p.r.ji. and will be the guest of the United'^Services Club at 5 p.m. At 8 p.m. a i^ublic meeting of welcome will be helcfat the St. John Association Hall, Viviuin Street. . On Saturday at 3 i>Sm. a parade of brigade members will \liJe held in' the Wellington Show Association Building. John Street, and sn inspection will be carried out by Colone.i Sleeman. A full parade of ambulanfce workers is expected. \ The tour of the Welli ogton district will be continued on Monday when Colonel Sleeman will g6\ to Napier, where a demonstration byl the ambulance divisions will be gii/en in th« sound shell on the Parade! that evening. After the demonstration and -inspection Colonel Sleeman utll be welcomed by the Mayor of NVpier, and speeches will also be give.|i by the Bishop of Waiapu, the president of the ■Red Cross Society, and the tihairman of the Hawke's Bay County VCouncil. Following the civic reception, * Colonel Sleeman will present certificates ' to ambulance workers. .\ Next Tuesday the Commissiomsr will visit Gisborne, and on the following day will visit Hastings, Waipawk and Palmerston North. He will ceil -at Massey College and the Palmdffston North Hospital during the afternoon, and will be given a civic recerttion that evening. After the raception\ he will meet members of ambulance *nd nursing divisions. V Colonel Sleeman will be accompanied in the Marlborough and Nelson «jstricts by Mr. F. W. Ward, Commissioner of Wellington, and the secretary of thlp Wellington centre, Mr. C. Meacheiv In the Hawke's Bay district Mr. W.. w.
