AVIATION NEWS

The Wellington Aero Club's Moth ZK-ADP, piloted by Squadron-Leader Stedman and carrying as a passenger Mr. E. Leverton, left for Palmerston North at 2.15 p.m. yesterday and returned, piloted by the latter, at 5.40 p.m., Squadron-Leader Stedman landing in the club's Miles Hawk ZK-ADJ from Palmerston five minutes later. There was a gathering of club members and others interested to witness the arrival of the latest addition to the club's fleet of aircraft.

Today, at 10.5 a.m., the chib's Moth ZK-AAV, piloted by Mr. Alexander, took a passenger to Mastcrton and returned at 12.15 p.m. Two club Moths. ZK-AAV and ZK-AAO, piloted by Misses J. Prime and R. McKinnon respectively, each flying solo, le£t lor Martinborough at 12.30 p.m.
