A.E. ELLIS TO RIDE
SUCCESSFUL APPEAL

CHRISTCHURCH. January 15,
The appeal of the jockey A. E. Ellis to the New Zealand Racing Conference against the suspension of a month imposed by the Dunedin Jockey Club on Boxing Day was today upheld by the three judges, Messrs. A. S. Elwortby, George Gould, and W. E. Wanklyn, appointed by the Conference. Ellis will now be able to fulfil riding engagements at the' Wellington Meeting next week. One of his mounts will be Silver Ring in the Wellington Cup.
