INCREASED HOTEL TAKINGS,

Since the close of the company's year on October 31, turnover of Carlton Hotel, Ltd., Sydney, had shown. a remarkable increase, Mr.- N. B. Hydge told shareholders at the annual meeting. Up to the last completed week of December the company had taken more money than for the whole of the previous Christmas period, and a record season was assured.
