WAIRAU CLUB'S JUBILEE

. . BLENHEIM, December 26. The Wairau Rowing Club's silver jubilee regatta was held on the-Wai-rau River today in ideal conditions.! Blenheim, Wairau, Picton, and , Wei-1 lmgton clubs were represented. Wellington met with only a small measure of success, the only placing being second in the junior lour of one mile and a half. -Picton won the jubilee senior fours, the junior fours, junior welter fours, and youths' fours. Wairau won . the maiden fours and were second in the lightweight maiden, second in the youths' fours, second in the jubilee senior fours, and third in the junior welter fours. Blenheim won the lightweight maiden and were second in the maiden fours and junior welter fours, third in the. junior fours, and third in the jubilee fours.
