POLE VAULT RECORD
TED WINTERS-PERFORMANCE
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) HASTINGS, December 26. Ted Winter, New South Wales polevaulting champion,' beat the New Zealand pole-vault record at.Napier this afternoon, clearing the bar at 12ft Jin. The existing Dominion record of Sift 4Jin is held by J. W. Batstone, of Christchurch.
Batstone's performance was registered, at Waikari in March, 1932.
