Yet another electric : sign has - been added to Wellington's roof line, a tapered cylinder erected on the roof of. Electricity House in' Cuba Street. It is a tapered cylinder 18ft high, containing some dozen red neon tubes, and taking six kilowatts to'run. This incandescent pillar is not intended for any other purpose than to draw attention to the City Council's electric supplies to citizens, but one of the first questions by visitors will be "What is it for?" It will therefore be ; a rather iinique advertisement, besides adding to the lurid glow which reddens the sky over the city in misty weather, and should be a guide to approaching i aviator*. ...-'-' — <
