CHRISTMAS PARTY

FOR HARD OF HEARING

The Lip-reading students and friends spent a very enjoyable eveiiirigtoa; Wednesday at. a. Christmas: 'partyV-in the classroom at 95 Courtehay Place.

An interesting collection of Christmas gifts was displayed, as the outcome of a Christmas gift competition, and a prize was awarded for the most original, economical, and 'useful gift. The gifts were on sale after the judging had taken place, and members of the social committee spent a busy period, satisfying the-I demands of ■• the ■ enthusiastic buyers. Original Christmas games and competitions were held. Two small girls delighted the students with dainty dancing items, and received posies of sweet peas and red roses.

The classroom was gaily festooned, and flowers were everywhere in evidence. A delicious supper was served.
