Sir, —May I, through your columns express our deep''appreciation of the unbounded kindness and hospitality shown the bandsmen and myself on the occasion of the recent visit of the band of the New Zealand Institute for the Blind to the Wellington province. We had a delightful time, and ~send our warm thanks to the many good friends who helped to make our stay such a success. We acknowledge with gratitude the receipt of the following net proceeds from our hon. organisers in the different centres visited. The costs were kept exceedingly low by reason of the generous concessions given us in hall fees, newspaper advertising, cartage, and other costs.
