MANAWATU'S INNOVATION

The Manawatu - Racing Club has adopted an interesting innovation for its corning meeting. Special concession season tickets have been made available, the charge for men being £1 (for the three days) and for women 7s 6d. The'full charge to the lawn each day last year was 10s for men and 6s for women, so the concession is a substantial one: Season tickets may be obtained from the secretary of the club.
