GIRL'S SCHOOL ATTENDANCE
(Special to the "Evening Post.") PALMERSTON N.? This Day. A fine record has been established by a girl who is leaving the Central School after haying completed her primary education there. She is Audrey Coulin, who enrolled on.February 7, 1928, and for eight years until December 19, 1935, did not fail to attend school on a single day. In drawing attention to this achievement at the breaking-up ceremony yesterday, the headmaster, Mr. E. Bary, said the performance was a very creditable one and showed how some children were able, to avoid illnesses that interrupted schooling even temporarily.
The school committee presented Audrey with a volume of poems.
