OBITUARY

MR. JOHN O'CONNOR

Mr. John O'Connor, whose death occurred in the Grey town Hospital on Saturday night last, after a brief illness, was ariold and respected resident of the Greytown district. He was sixty years of age. . Mr. O'Connor was the only son of the late Mr. John and Mrs. Mary O'Connor. He was bom and educated in Grey town and lived there all his life. A keen interest was taken by Mr. O'Connor in municipal affairs, and he -was also a close student of chemistry and a good musician. During the Great War he made a number of vib^ lins,'. whirivvhe 'presented to soldiers in the camp at. Tauherenikau.

Mr. O'Connor has left one son (Mr. John O'Connor, of Ohakune) and one sister (Mrs. M. E. Haggett, of Petone).
